SURCHARGE TOKEN, Great Britain, Cartwheel penny, 1797, impressed on obverse with initials, 'W B'. Coin good, countermark fine and scarce.

W B was a Sydney stone mason. Another one of his surcharged coins, an 1854 British penny, was sold in 2012 for $120 plus commission.
