CBE GROUP OF TWELVE: The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Commander (CBE Military type 2), neck badge; British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal 1914-19 with MID; 1939-45 Star; Africa Star; Pacific Star; Defence Medal 1939-45; War Medal 1939-45 with MID; Australia Service Medal 1939-45; 1911 Coronation Medal; 1935 Jubilee Medal; 1937 Coronation Medal. First, fourth, fifth and sixth and last three medals unnamed, Captain. C.E.Prior. A.I.F. on second and third medals, SX1470 C.E.Prior on seventh, eighth and ninth medals. All named medals impressed. The first in case of issue by Garrard & Co, the rest display mounted, some contact marks, otherwise very fine - extremely fine.

Together with a rare embroidered blazer patch for the Australian 1937 Coronation Contingent.

CBE: LG 9/9/1942, p3945 - for ability and distinction in administration Middle East - to SX1470 Brigadier Claude Esdaile Prior. Presented by The Governor-General at Admiralty House, Sydney on 25 January 1949.

MID (WWI): LG 11/7/1919, p8833; CAG 30/10/1919, p1656, to Captain Claude Esdaile Prior 3rd Australian Machine Gun Battalion.

MID (WWII): (1) LG 30/12/1941, p7357 and (2) LG 23/6/1942 to SX1470 Brigadier Claude Esdaile Prior.

Coronation Medal 1911: Confirmed entitlement to Claude E Prior as member of Senior Cadets Coronation Contingent.

Jubilee Medal 1935: Confirmed entitlement on Commonwealth List to Capt Claude Esdaile Prior ASC.

Coronation Medal 1937: Confirmed entitlement to Maj Claude Esdale (sic) Prior as member of Coronation Contingent (Military Detachment).
