MICHAEL VII DUCAS, with Maria, (1071-1078 A.D.), silver miliaresion 22 mm, (1.85 g), Constantinople mint, obv. cross crosslet on three steps, with saltire cross at center and pellet-in-crescent on shaft; crowned and draped facing busts of Michael and Maria to left and right, respectively, rev. MIXAH / KAI MAPIA /**P*ICTOI BA / CI**L*EIC PW / MAIWN in five lines, (S.1874, DOC 6b, BN 2-5, BMC 15-17, R.2047-8). Nearly very fine, toned.
