CARACALLA, (A.D. 198-217), silver denarius, issued 201, Rome mint, (3.31 g), obv. laureate draped bust to right of Caracalla, around ANTONINVS AVGVSTVS, rev. Caracalla, standing to front, head to right, naked, holding globe and spear, around PONTIF ORBIS, (S.6880, RIC 39a, RSC 542). Toned, good very fine, scarce.
