HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), AE sestertius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 121-2, (25.22 grams), obv. laureate draped bust of Hadrian to right, around IMP CAESAR TRAIAN HADRIANVS AVG, rev. P M TR P COS III around, VIRT AVG and S C across, Virtus standing left, holding spear and parazonium, (S.1125, RIC 614c, C.1466). Almost black with attractive tone, good very fine/very fine and rare in this condition.
