PROBUS, (A.D. 276-282), base silver antoninianus, Rome mint (2.672 grams), obv. radiate cuirassed bust to right of Probus, around IMP PROB VS P F AVG, rev. emperor on horseback to left, spurning captive, around ADVEN TVS AVG, in exergue R thunderbolt Z, (S.3338A, RIC 155 variant mintmark, C.36). Almost fully silvered, broad flan, good extremely fine.
