EARLY ANGLO-SAXON, (c.600-775), silver sceatta, Northern Frisia mint (probably Wijnaldum), (1.31 g), series D, type 8, obv. crude beaded standard enclosing right angles and central pellet-in-annulet, rev. central cross pommee, pellets in angles, around OHVV+, (S.793, N.50, Abramson 10.10)). Toned, good very fine.
