EDWARD I, (1272-1307), silver penny, long cross type, phase 2 class Xabi2, London Mint, issued 1300-1307, (1.40 g), obv. crowned facing bust, no sceptre, small narrow face, bifoliate crown, barred Roman Ns, +EDWAR R ANGL DNS hY around, rev. long cross voided dividing CIVITAS LOII DOII, trefoil of pellets in each angle, (S.1409, N.1038/1). Toned, edge nick, good fine.
