EDWARD I, (1272-1307), silver farthing, long cross type, class VII, issued 1290-1300, London Mint, (0.33 g), obv.
crowned facing bust reaching almost to edge of coin, large face with pellet eyes, neat tall crown, bushy hair of thick strands, no inner pelleted circle, E R ANGLIE around, open E, rev. long cross voided dividing CIVITAS LONDON, trefoil of pellets in each angle enclosed by inner circle of pellets, (S.1447, N.1055). Toned, slightly porous, good fine and rare.
