EDWARD II, (1307-1327), silver penny, long cross type, class XIa2, issued 1310-1311, Durham Mint, issuer Bishop Bec, (1.12 g), obv. crowned facing bust within pelleted inner circle, damaged crown jewel, EDWAR ANGL DNS HYB around, rev. long cross voided dividing CIVITAS DVREME, trefoil of pellets in each angle within pelleted inner circle, larger lettering, scroll tailed R, normal A, (S.1468, N.1060/2). Toned, area of flat striking, fair.
