CARIA, Mylasa, (c.520-490 B.C.), silver stater, 19mm, (10.88 g), Persic standard, obv. forepart of roaring lion to left, dotted bar on shoulder, two incuse rectangles, (S.3575, SNG Kayhan 929, SNG von Aulock 2337, ACNAC Rosen 611, Konuk, Influences, pl. XXIX, 4 = Nanteuil 560; SNG Cop. 179). Good very fine, very scarce.

Ex Numismatik Lanz Auction 131 November 27, 2006 (lot 165) coming from the Karl Collection, previously from Kunker Auction 54 7-8 March, 2000 (lot 1976). In descriptive collector's flip.
