AUGUSTUS, (27 B.C. - 14 A.D.), silver denarius (3.70 g), Rome mint, M. Durmius moneyer, issued 19-18 B.C., obv. around CAESAR AVGVSTVS, bare head of Augustus to right, rev. M DVRMIVS III VIR, lion attacking stag to left, (S.-, RIC 318, RSC 431, BMCRE 63). Toned, slightly off centred on the reverse, small scratch on obverse, otherwise nearly extremely fine and rare.
