KNIGHT BACHELOR'S BADGE, 2nd type breast badge gilt silver and enamel, hallmarked for 1970, in Royal Mint case of issue; also a neck badge in gilt silver and enamel, hallmarked for 1975, in Garrard & Co Ltd case of issue and together with a length of miniature ribbon. Two awards, the first with a small toned section and the second mostly fully toned, otherwise nearly uncirculated.

Vendor advised attribution to Australian transport tycoon, Sir Peter Abeles. Peter Emil Herbert Abeles was awarded the Knight Bachelor (Imperial) honour on 1 January 1972 for services to business and the arts on the recommendation of the NSW Government led by Sir Robert Askin.
