A.I.F. on first three medals, N76029 J.H.Bambury on last two medals. All medals impressed. Court mounted, first three medals cleaned, some contact marks, otherwise very fine - extremely fine.

Joseph Henry Bambury, electrical engineer, age 25, born at Birmingham, England; WWI: Enl.10Aug1915 at Warwick Farm, NSW, in 11Rfts 3Bn; TOS 53 Bn from 3Bn 16Feb1916 at Tel-el-Kebir; trf to 5 Pioneer Bn 03Mar1916; RTA for operation for hernia 10Jul1916; Disch.19Jan1917 Medically Unfit; WWII: Enl.03Jul1940 at Paddington, Sydney, NSW, now a fruiterer & greengrocer; TOS HQEC 03Jul1940 and to Specialist III; trf to AASC Canteen Services 06Aug1940; to 103 Conv Depot 22Dec1941; Disch.07Jan1942 Medically Unfit.
