SICILY, Akragas, (c.450 B.C.), cast AE trias, cone shape, (13.01 g), obv. eagle standing to left, rev. crab, underside four dots, (cf.S.1020, CNS 1, BMC p.23, 1-2); together with Caria, Kalymna, (300-190 B.C.), AE two chalkos, 12mm, (1.99 g), obv. veiled mae head right wearing aclose fitting helmet, rev. wreath of laurel below [K]A**L*[Y], (S.4982, BMC 31-36, SNG Cop. 611). Both fine - very fine and rare. (2)

Ex Noble Numismatics, Sale 124 (lot 2958) and previously from I.S. Wright, 1996 for the first coin, second coin with descriptive ticket.
