SICILY, Himera, (c.420-407 B.C.), AE reduced tetras, 12mm, (1.09 g), obv. three-quarter facing head of nymph, head turned slightly left, rev. scallop shell; four pellets above, (S.-; CNS I pg. 45, 37; SNG ANS -; SNG Morcom 602; Laffaille 152; HGC, 2, 483 [R2]). Good very fine with dark green patina, very rare.

Ex David Herman Collection, CNG eSale 148, September 20, 2006 (lot 108), from Classical Numismatic Group E64, lot 47 and David Freedman Collection, CNG eSale 64, May 7, 2003 (lot 47) where it realised $360US.
