BOIOTIA, Federal Coinage, uncertain mint probably Thebes, (395-340 B.C.), silver hemidrachm or triobol (2.55 g), obv. Boiotian shield, rev. kantharos, club above to left, B OI below all within concave incuse square with curved edge, (S.2396, BCD 29 [Triton IX p.18], Head 'Boeotia' p.55, SNG Cop. 173, BMC 3274). Lightly toned, very fine and rare.
