C. ANTESTIUS, (146 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome Mint, (3.86 g), obv. Roma helmeted head right, C ANTESTI behind (ANE in monogram), X under chin, rev. the Dioscuri to right, dog running to right below, ROMA in exergue, (S.95, Cr.219/1e, Syd.411, B.Antestia 1). Light grey patina, good very fine and scarce.
