L. FARSULEIUS MENSOR, (75 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome Mint, (3.91 g), obv. diademed and draped bust of Liberty to right, S.C under chin, MENSOR. before, cap of liberty behind, rev. Roma in biga to right assisting a togate figure to mount into the chariot, XXVI below horse's feet, L. FARSVLE[I] in exergue, (S.329, C.392/1b, RSC Farsuleia 1). Toned, nearly extremely fine and rare as such.
