TRAJAN, (A.D. 98-117), silver denarius, issued 105, Rome Mint, (3.56 g), obv. laureate bust to right of Trajan, drapery on left shoulder, around IMP TRAIANO AVG GER DAC P M TR P, rev. Pax standing to left, holding olive branch and cornucopiae and setting fire to pile of Dacian arms, around COS V PP S P Q R OPTIMO PRINC, PAX below, (S.3142, RIC 102, RSC 196). Toned, collector's number penned on reverse field, good very fine and scarce.
