NEW ZEALAND POLICE LONG SERVICE AND GOOD CONDUCT MEDAL, by S.Kohn (O&D.93 (1886-1900 type). No. 282 I/C Const. P. McCormack. N.Z.P. Engraved. Dark toned, extremely fine and rare first type.
Ex The American Numismatic Society Collection, given by J.Sanford Saltus, Morton & Eden Sale 25-26 October 2006 Part 2 (lot 919).^^The remains of Constable P.McCormack were interred at Linwood Cemetery in November 1910. There was a large attendance of the local police force as he had been stationed in Christchurch for many years.
