GLENORCHY, fob medal, handcrafted in voided gold (9ct, 5.04g, 27x40mm), by Williamson, ring top suspension, obverse inscribed 'FW', reverse inscribed 'Pve F.Watson,/From/Glenorchy Friends'. Very fine.
Probably 24/611 Pte Frank Ernest Watson, last address before enlistment was at Glenorchy, B Company, 2nd Battalion, NZEF, embarked from New Zealand 9 October 1915. Also served in WWII under serial number 3/18/1544.
