(Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes), jewel, in gold (9ct) and gilt (tot wt 67.2g, drop 50x50mm), on ribbon with attachments, reverse inscribed 'Roll of Honour/Was Conferred Upon/Bro/M.C.Hurnoell.K.O.M/Napier No.37/For His Services in the Cause/Of Buffaloism and Their/Regard for Him as a Man/and a Brother'. Lead solder repair on back, otherwise very fine.
