GDHS (GREYTOWN DISTRICT HIGH SCHOOL), Dux, 1913, stock medal handcrafted in gold (9ct, approx 5.3g, 23.5x23.5mm), no maker, ring top suspension with blue ribbon attached, reverse inscribed 'Greytown D.H. School/T.B.Stevens/Dux/1913.' Good very fine.

The annual presentation of prize medals for Greytown District High School was conducted in December 1913 presided over by the headmaster, Mr W.C.Davies, and presentations by Mrs Walden. A new feature was the awarding of gold dux medals in the primary department. These were won by Ethel Feast and Tom Stevens.
