W.F.A. (Wellington Football Association), handcrafted in silver (34x34mm), no maker, ring top suspension but this missing, obverse inscribed 'HMcK', reverse inscribed 'W.F.A./3rd Class/Champ Race/H.McKeowen/5.8.99'. Fine.

Mr H.McKeowen was a member of the headquarters staff of the Railway Department, honorary secretary of the Wellington Football Association and also honorary secretary and treasurer of the Red Cross Association Football Club. He was one of two men from Wellington chosen to represent the Catholic Young Men's Societies of New Zealand at the Australasian Catholic Congress held in Melbourne in October 1904.^^With research.
