WWII, trench art, silvered metal model of a spitfire mounted on a silvered bullet and casing fitted to a plastic base; also a brass model of what also appears to be a spitfire mounted on a rod fitted to a large metal map of Australia, suitable for an ashtray; very large shell casing base, most markings unclear, made into an ashtray and fitted in the centre with a cartridge and shell casing and mounted on top of this is a matchbox holder, fitted around the sides of the casing are four cigarette holders, one of these is loose, also on the front are the brass initials, 'RAN'; another ashtray made from the base of a British 25 pounder artillery shell casing, fitted with four cigarette holders and each of these is above a small cartridge. Both models of the aircraft without propeller, the first with some loss of silvering and the plastic base cracked, the second with a few bumps and the map with some oxidation, otherwise very good - good fine.
