WWI TRENCH ART, includes a brass bullet cartridge which features a small knife blade when the copper bullet head is removed from the cartridge, the cartridge is marked, 'S [illegible number that would be code for type of metal casing]/DM (Deutsche Munitionsfabriken [Karlsruhe])/4 (April)/(19)18'; also a steel bullet cartridge which features a small pencil when the steel bullet head is removed from the cartridge, the cartridge is marked, 'S67 (steel case code)/S (patrone or spitzer bullet)/3 (March)/(19)18'. Very good; fine. (2)
