GERMANY, Mauser 98k 84/98 bayonet, marked S/240G on one side of the ricasso and 3421 on the other side, 25cm steel filleted blade, timber and steel handle, with steel scabbard with metal frog, the scabbard marked at the top S/240G. Very fine.
The German manufacturer code 'S/240' is for Friedrich Herder & Sohn and the G suffix reflects a 1935 manufacture date.
