BOIOTIA, Thebes, (c.425-400 B.C.), silver stater (11.43 g), obv. Boiotian shield, rev. Amphora, (E retrograde)-**Q* across lower field, all within square incuse, (cf.S.2384, Myron Hoard pl. B, 13 (same rev. die), SNG Delepierre 1348, Peus 264 (1 October 1963), lot 2739 (same rev. die). Very fine, light grey tone, very rare only known variety type from a few examples.
