PONTUS, Kings of, Mithradates VI Eupator, (c.160-63 B.C.), silver tetradrachm (16.37 g), Pergamon Mint, dated **DKS* = 224 BE = 74/73 B.C., month C, obv. diademed head right, rev. stag grazing left, star in crescent, below it a monogram, date to right, above another monogram, all within Dionysiac wreath of ivy and fruit, (Callatay dies D26/- [this obverse die], RG 16, DCA 692, HGC 7, 338). Toned, minor edge cuts and breaks, otherwise good very fine, rare.
