HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), silver denarius, issued 117, Rome Mint, (3.26 g), obv, laureate bust with drapery on far shoulder to right, of Hadrian around IMP CAESAR TRAIAN HADRIANVS AVG, reverse, P M TR P COS II around, Pax standing left holding olive branch and cornucopiae, PAX in exergue, (cf.S.3523, RIC II.3.124, BMC 78, RSC 1015). Good very fine and very scarce.
