HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), silver denarius, issued 124, Rome Mint, (3.24 g), obv. laureate bust to right of Hadrian, drapery on left shoulder, around [IMP CAE]SAR TRAIAN HADRIANVS AVG, rev. P M TR P COS III around, Aeternitas standing to left holding heads of Sol and Luna, (cf.S.3458, RIC 81, RSC 1114). Toned, nearly extremely fine or better and a rare type.
