MAGNIA URBICA, wife of Carinus, (A.D. 283-285), billon antoninianus, Ticinum Mint, (2.52 g), obv. diademed bust to right of Magnia Urbica on crescent, around, MAGNIA VRBICA AVG, rev. VENVS GENETRIX, Venus standing to left holding helmet and sceptre and leaning on shield, in exergue SXXIT, (S.12423, RIC 347, RSC 18). Good very fine and rare, the coin with attractive dark brown patina.
