GORDIAN III, 238 - 244 A.D., AE sestertius, Rome mint, issued 241 - 243 A.D., (11.35g), obverse laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Gordian III to right, IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG around, reverse Felicitas standing left, holding long caduceus and conucopiae, FELICIT TEMPOR around, S C across (S.8705, RIC 328a, C.73). Fine/good fine and scarce.
