MARK ANTONY, (summer 32 B.C.), silver denarius, mint moving with Mark Antony, (3.842 grams), obv. head of Mark Antony to right, [ANTON AVG] IMP III. COS. DES. III. III. V.R.P.C. around, rev. in two lines M.SILANVS. AVG/ Q.PRO. COS, (S.1477 [£400 VF], Cr.542/1, Syd.1208, C. Mark Antony 71 [£370]). Banker's mark T in reverse field, off centred on the obverse, attractive grey patina, very fine and rare.
Crawford has determined that less than 30 obverse dies were used for this type.
