ELAGABALUS, (A.D. 218-222), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 219-220, (2.624 grams), obv. laureate bust of Elagabalus draped to right, around IMP ANTONINVS AVG, rev. around PROVID DEORVM, Providentia standing to half left leaning on column, holding wand over globe at feet and a cornucopiae, (S.-, RIC 130, RSC 244). Nearly extremely fine/good very fine, slightly off centred on the reverse.
