JULIUS CAESAR, silver denarius (3.20g), issued 49-8 BC, military mint moving with Caesar, obv. Elephant right, trampling serpent, CAESAR in exergue, rev. priestly implements (S.1006; C.443/1; BMC Gaul 27). Toned, obverse struck slightly offcentre, fine and scarce.
