CARACALLA, (A.D. 198-217), silver denarius (3.30g), Rome mint, issued 204 AD, obv. laureate and draped bust right, ANTONINVS PIVS AVG around, rev. Dea Caelistis riding a leaping lion right, holding a thunderbolt and sceptre, gushing water flowing from a rock to left beneath, INDVLGENTIA AVG around, IN CARTH in exergue (S.6806; RIV IV 130a; RSC 97). Good very fine.
