CONVICT LOVE TOKEN, engraved on a 1797 cartwheel penny with both sides shaved smooth, on one side is engraved, "When/This You See/Remember/Mee (sic)", and on the other side, "G.Mills/Sep. 25 1819" with a wreath of leaves at the bottom edge. Very good.

No records but vendor states George Mills was sentenced to life in the colonies for stealing a watch. He arrived in NSW in 1820. With colour photo of token.
