JUSTIN I, (518-527 AD), gold solidus, Constantinople Mint, 9th officina, struck 518-22 AD, obv. helmeted and cuirassed bust facing slightly right, holding spear and shield, D N IVSTINVS PP AVG, rev. VICTORIA AVGGG *Q**, Victory standing left, holding staff surmounted by staurogram, star in left around, CONOB in exergue (SB.55l, DOC 1g, MIB 2). Graffito on obverse, clipped, nearly extremely fine.

In a slab by NGC as XF wrinkled (4284830-016).
