USA, 400TH ANNIVERSARY OF CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS'S ARRIVAL IN AMERICA, 1892, bronze (59mm), by Pogliaghi, obv. bust of Columbus facing left surrounded by the allegorical figures of America and Europe who join hands among laurel and palm branches, rev. allegorical scene with the winged civilization among cherubs appearing to the people of America lying on the ground, (Eglit 107). Uncirculated.
