SYRIA, Kingdom of Antiochus III, (223-187 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.018 grams), Antioch mint, obv. head of Antiochus III to right, with diademed, rev. Apollo seated to left, on omphalos. (cf.S.6934, Newell WSM 1146c, [This Coin, Pl.XXVI,14], Pozzi Colln. No.2952 [This Coin]). Very fine.
