TIBERIUS, (A.D. 14-37), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 14-37, (3.686 grams), obv. laureate head of Tiberius to right, around of TI CAESAR DIVI AVG F AVGVSTVS, rev. PONTIF MAXIM Livia seated to right, with vertical sceptre and branch, (S.1763, RIC 30, BMC 48). Nearly very fine/very fine.

Ex Noble Numismatics Sale 52 (lot 2223). Of Biblical importance as the issue is often described as the Tribute Penny (Mark 12: 14-17).
