ADELAIDE EXHIBITION 1881, in gold (31mm, 15.3grams) by Wendt in Adelaide but not signed. 1 with dot either side above anchor (for first) reverse inscribed 'Telegraph/ Construction &/ Maintainence Co.' Hairline in right field of obverse otherwise FDC and extremely rare, struck from different dies to the other example in Sale 32 (lot 1194).
