EGYPT, Kingdom of, Ptolemy IV, (221-204 B.C.), gold oktadrachm, commemorative issue for Ptolemy III, (27.7 grams), Alexandria mint, obv. radiate bust of Ptolemy III to right, wearing aegis, trident over left shoulder, within dotted border, rev. radiate cornucopiae bound with fillet, around **PTOLEMAIOU BASILEWS*, (S.7825 [£3500], Sv. 1117, BMC 103-4). Good very fine and rare.
