PELOPONNESOS, Sicyon, (4th century B.C.), silver stater, (12.268 grams), obv. Chimaera walking to left, wreath above, **SE* below, rev. dove flying to left, I to left, all within wreath, (cf.S.2764, Weber 3904, cf.SNG Cop.48). Minor flan flaw on reverse, struck from a rusty obverse die, otherwise nearly extremely fine with excellent centering and rare.
