BACTRIA, Kingdom of, Eucradides I, (171-135 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.778 grams), obv. diademed and draped bust of Eucratides to right all within dotted border, rev. the Dioscouroi on horseback to right holding spears and palms, monogram of KP to right, below in exergue **EUKRATIDOU, above **BASILEWS, (S.7568, SNG ANS 431, Bopearachchi Series 1B). Good very fine in high relief, finer than usual examples and a rare variant.
