L. FARSULEIUS MENSOR, (c.75 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.902 grams), obv. Liberty diademed and draped bust to right, S C and cap of Liberty behind, MENSOR before, rev. Roma in biga to right, LXII below, FARSVLEI in exergue, (S.329 [£85 VF], Cr.392/1b, Syd.789, B. Farsuleia 2). Slightly off centre and minor graffiti and punch mark on obverse, otherwise very fine and very scarce.

Ex L. Riggs Auction, Cincinati USA, November 29, 1958 (lot 64). Only 36 obverse dies utilised for this type according to the calculation by Crawford.
