HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), silver denarius, issued 134-138, Rome mint, (3.13 grams), obv. bare head to right of Hadrian, around HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P, rev. NILVS around, Nilus reclining right, holding reed and cornucopiae, hippopotamus and crocodile before and below, (S.1092 [£120], RIC 310, RSC 991); together with bronzes, Domitian (A.D. 81-96), AE as, issued 92-4, (RIC 407); Trajan (A.D. 98-117), AE sestertius, issued 114-117 (RIC 663), AE as, issued 99-100 (RIC 417); Hadrian AE dupondius, issued 119-121, (RIC 605); Faustina Jnr. AE sestertius issued after 175-6, (RIC 1706). Good - nearly very fine, the first rare. (6)
