EAST INDIA COMPANY, Bengal Presidency, Murshidabad Mint, 1793 Second Milled issue, Perpetual 19 san sicca series, Copies of Standard Silver Currency, in the name of Shah Alam II (A.H.1173-1221, A.D.1759-1806), rupees struck in silver (3), all Regnal Year 19 (fixed), with Privy mark for Murshidabad and with oblique milling to right rupee vertical graining, and plain milling, (Pr. 407, 408 (This Coin Illustrated), 409, cf.KM. 99, 108, 117). Extremely fine or better and all very scarce. (3)

Ex. F. Pridmore Collection (lot 700 part) with his tickets, and Spink Australia Sale 17 (lot 1840 part). Although claimed by Pridmore to be issued in debased silver these examples, (one being the illustrated example in Pridmore's book), appear to be generally of good silver.
